Centrally Held Training

The LSAT team offer a variety of courses, we run a yearly course for new SENCOs or those wishing to revisit key aspects of their post with up to date information. As well as this, we also offer a number of courses based on specific areas of learning, including supporting children in literacy and maths. Some of our courses are generic, offering practical ideas on multi-sensory learning and nurture group provision. Our team are involved in the delivery of information around Equality and Accessibility, and we offer training specifically for SENCOs who wish to improve their leadership skills within their role. All of the team are now licensed trainers for the Autism Education Trust materials, and two members of the team support the Speech and Language Therapy Services in their delivery of the Early Bird programmes for parents.
